My name is Stephanie Lovelace. I am 32 years old from Detroit, Michigan. From a young age I’ve had a passion for all things fashion. I grew up watching shows such as How do I Look and Say Yes to the Dress. While watching these shows, I recognized the lack of plus size representation. There was no one that looked like me. The lack of plus size representation inspired me to create my YouTube channel while in college. I used my platform to celebrate body positivity, confidence and fashion for the plus size community. In doing so, I had the opportunity to work with brands such as Shein and Boohoo, to promote fashion for plus size women like myself.

As I continued to grow my social media platform as a social media influencer, I was eager to do more to be part of the change in everyday fashion standards. In 2019, I went to my first model casting for a Detroit designer not knowing if that designer would cater to someone of my size. I was selected as the only plus size model for that fashion show and the rest was history. I fell in love with the adrenaline and confidence I got while ripping the runway. Since then, I have had the opportunity to model for several Detroit designers and become a brand ambassador. My goal is to one day be apart of the necessary emergence of the plus size representation in high fashion brands through print and runway worldwide.
